Orchestral noise percussion instrument

Orchestral noise percussion instrument
The sound of the triangle is silvery, sparkling, ringing, high, and piercing. Even a single strike can cut through the powerful sound of the entire symphony orchestra, adding a radiant “highlight”.
It consists of a steel rod bent into a triangular shape, leaving one corner open (which acoustically enhances vibrations). The instrument is suspended from a thin strap or string and struck with a small metal rod.
